Answer Ball is designed with privacy in mind. We do NOT collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) from our users. Specifically:

• We do not require you to create an account.

• We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal details.

• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.

• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

2. INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE

The App stores limited, non-personal data locally on your device to support its basic functionality, including:

• Your language preference (e.g., English or Indonesian).

• Other small settings related to your in-app experience.

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the App.

3. DEVICE SENSORS

Answer Ball uses your device's motion sensor (accelerometer) to detect shake gestures. This sensor data is processed in real time on your device only and is never stored, recorded, or transmitted anywhere.

4. INTERNET CONNECTION AND THIRD-PARTY KNOWLEDGE SOURCES

For certain knowledge-based questions, Answer Ball may make requests to publicly available information services, including:

• Wikipedia (wikipedia.org)

• Wikidata (wikidata.org)

• Open Library (openlibrary.org)

• DBpedia (dbpedia.org)

When such a request is made, only the relevant keywords from your question are sent to these services in order to retrieve a response. We do not attach any personal information, user identifier, device identifier, or location to these requests. These services may log requests according to their own privacy policies; we encourage you to review them if you have concerns.

We do not operate, control, or share data with any other external services.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Answer Ball is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the App does not collect personal data from any user, no special data is collected from children either.

6. PERMISSIONS USED

The App requests the following permissions on Android:

• INTERNET — required to fetch optional knowledge-based answers from public sources listed above.

• Motion Sensors — accessed automatically (no runtime permission required) to detect shake gestures.

No other permissions are requested.

7. DATA SECURITY

Because we do not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no personal data on our side to be lost, stolen, or breached. Data stored locally on your device is protected by the standard security mechanisms provided by your device's operating system.

8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
